Twisted Sisters Primitives is a combined effort of me: Nancy Kirgan and my sister, JIll Heuss or I should say Ragg Thyme Primitives and Kirgan Farms.

We are located in Indiana and Ohio right on the State Line. We both began designing products over 12 years ago. Jill and I like to work in many different mediums. Jill sews dolls, designs her own patterns, and makes wood products with the help of her husband Tim. She also has recently delved into the graphics, banners, avatars and clipart with her own unique style. I like to work with the wood and Paper Mache'. My husband Patrick is also a big part of this as well. He helps with the wood working and painting. Its a very family oriented business.

We both are "green" conscious. We like to recycle anything that can be made into a primtive. Jill paints old buckets, wood, old suitcases etc. . .I really like the old wood siding for porch decorations such as 4' to 6' snowmen, santas, pumpkins, scarecrows, cats etc. . .We have pretty much disassembled an old weathered barn that needed to be torn down on one of our farms. "There is nothing so "primitive" as old siding that has weathered for 100 yrears!" We found you didin't really have to do much to it --- in order to make it look old. LOL!

In 1997 Kirgan Farms began designing and selling products to The Cracker Barrel chain of restuarants nationwide. We designed for them for 6 years. The exposure of our products nationwide brought us alot of business from stores everywhere. It was great fun to walk into a store and see our products displayed among their many wares. Ragg Thyme primitives became quite successful selling with an salesman-rep doing shows and auctions on the internet. Ragg Thyme Primitives currently is selling products in her Eze shop and on Etsy. This business has allowed Jill to be a stay at home mom and still have a career in crafting.

About 5 years ago my sister and I began doing some shows together. We found that this was a good way for both of us to display our products in a complimentary setting. Our styles meshed very well. So, we recently decided that since we like to do unique, one of a kind products we would develope "Twisted Sister Primitives" into a Folk-art Primitive line that featured products that were designed with collectors in mind.

We want to bring products to the market that are different and eclectic in appeal as well as primitive and country for specific style.
