TRA`s CRP works in coordination with the Texas Commission on EnvironmentalQuality to fulfill the goals of the Clean Rivers Act. This legislation requireseach river authority to “assess” the water quality and related issues in theirrespective watersheds. Toward this end TRA`s CRP focuses on routine waterquality monitoring, special studies and public outreach. TRA`s CRP staff will be discussing updates to the CRP, the Trinity River BasinHighlights Report and the upcoming FY 2010-2011 contract between TRA and theTCEQ. Presentations will include the Dallas/Fort Worth Land Use Mapping andStream Assessments for the Bear Creek watershed, the Waterborne Education Centerin Anahuac and the Process for Obtaining Stakeholder Support and Funding forYour Water Quality Program.
