Meet Robin Armstrong Seeber, the owner and creator of Outside the Box Primitives dolls and The Primitive Chandler beeswax candles. A mother of 6, grandmother of one and one half (due March09), she resides with her husband of 4yrs in southwestern, Pennsylvania. On a small farm, in the tiny town of West Alexander, population 400, Robin can be inspired by her dream just outside her studio window. She observes four horses and a miniature donkey, called "jack" of course, grazing in a pasture surrounded by a large trout creek.

Robin is an RN of 17+yrs, and this past March 08 took a sabbatical to pursue her art. She has been involved with primitive folk art for more than 25 yrs., owning several small businesses, teaching classes, seminars and organizing craft festivals for all ages.

FAO Schwartz of NYC, carried her very first dolls 20yrs ago, and her love for dolls has only grown. The most recent honor was to have an OTBP doll published in Art Doll Quarterly's prestigious magazine for their fall 08 issue, then they asked for more!

Robin's passion is creating collectible, one of a kind primitive folk art dolls. She recently completed her first doll making class "clay on cloth" and gathered valuable information to pursue different avenues and techniques with her designs.

"I suppose my ultimate goal is to bring to life dolls that bring people to life."

Robin's dolls are primarily sold on ebay under: outsidetheboxprimitives, and on her sales blog.

Thanks so much for a minute of your time to learn about OTBP dolls, and to share yourself with our web site and all the wonderful creations it has in store.
