Many of you know me by my former business name of "Sew Country Primitives".

I Live out in the High Desert of Southern California, along with my husband of 28 years.

I have been sewing since I was about 9 years old. My Mom taught me on an old "Brother" machine which I was about half afraid of at the time...LOL Soon I was making doll clothes,then graduated to making myself and my little sister clothes. My Grand Mother taught me how to embroider and my life long hobby of making all kinds of things took off!

The last 25 years I have made dolls. I discovered Gourds & clay a few years ago, and have mixed my mediums to make my GourdHead dolls. I also do just gourd work, with clay, Altered Art...and who know what I may try next!
