10 Young Adults Books everyone should read

Someone long ago said "A room without books is like a body without a soul." I couldn't agree more. Books do not need to be charged every hour, will not hurt your eyes, will stay with you forever and they can be carried around easily. These 10 YA books are a MUST-READ. And please remember, a good book is like a good friend so take good care of your book. A content strikingly topical science fiction

1) The Lord of the Rings by JRR Tolkien:

This is by far my favorite book.

2) To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee:

To kill a mockingbird is a classic modern American literature. It was published in 1960 and still a huge success till this day. The novel deals with some serious issues, such as rape and racism, but it has a humorous side that you do not want to miss. 3) The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins:

4) The Fault in our Stars by John Green:

The Fault in our stars is a realistic fiction. It has drama and humour, it will make you laugh and it will surely make you cry. 5) The Diary of a Young Girl (also known as The Diary of Anne Frank) by Anne Frank:

The diary of the young Anne Frank became a world classic. It is remarkable and powerful. The diary is full of death, war and history. It's definitely a MUST-READ. The book is included in several lists of the top books of the 20th century.


6) Harry Potter by J. K. Rowling: Whether it is fantasy, thriller, adventure, mystery, romance or magical realism, Harry Potter series have it. There are 7 books:

So if you are looking for a Great Perhaps, maybe you'll find it in Alaska. 7 years after its release the book made the Top 10 in New York Times best seller.


8) The Hobbit by J. R. R. Tolkien:

If you love The Lord of the Rings, then you will love The Hobbit. It is also high fantasy, full of adventures and you will not regret reading it. It was published before The Lord of the Rings, so you may want to read it first, just so you have a sequent serie of events. But it doesn't really matter which one to read first, the important thing is that you need to read it. It is nominated for the Carnegie Medal and awarded a prize from the New York Herald Tribune for best juvenile fiction.


9) Lord of the Flies by William Golding:

Lord of the Flies deals with complex ideas and concepts, but still comprehensible to us. It shows savagery against civilization and also it shows the dark side of humanity. In 2005 the novel was chosen by TIME magazine as one of the 100 best English-language novels from 1923 to 2005.


10) The Book Thief by Markus Zusak:

The Book Thief is a historical fiction. The events of the book are seen through a child's eyes, which you'll come to realize, if you read the book, that it is a profound story full of healing and transformative power. The book has won numerous awards and was listed on The New York Times Best Seller list for over 230 weeks.
